SCL Contact Lenses - Hand Painted Contact Lenses

SCL specialises in the hand painting of soft contact lenses for both the medical and movie special effects (FX) business. We manufacture both printed and hand painted lenses. Our therapeutic lenses are able to cosmetically mask damaged eyes, and strabismus. They are used by ophthalmologists, optometrists and opticians from all over the world in a wide range of optical problems.

The bulk of our work comes from medical orders and we work in conjunction with Cantor & Nissel, the contact lens manufacturer, also based in the United Kingdom, to provide the full optical and cosmetic solution for all types of related problems.

We also supply the movie, advertising and music industries with high quality special effects lenses. SCL have been operating as a company since being founded by Steve Lennox in the late 1980s.
